Privacy Policy

This is an honest interim document, not a finished legal one. Kanon's privacy policy is being prepared for review by counsel before the first paid customer, with specific attention to biometric privacy law (BIPA, CUBI, Washington MHMDA, GDPR Article 9). Until that review is complete, the commitments below describe how the product is actually built:

• Standalone biometric consent. We never process facial geometry without your explicit, separate, unbundled consent — it is its own checkbox, unticked by default, at checkout.
• 30-day deletion. Raw photos and facial landmark data are deleted 30 days after your report is delivered, unless you separately opt into the progress-tracking tier.
• Tracking tier. If you opt in, landmark vectors (not raw photos) are retained while your membership is active, and fully deleted within 30 days of cancellation or your request.
• Deletion on request. You can request full deletion of your data at any time.
• No sale of data. We do not sell or share your photos, landmarks, or intake answers with advertisers or data brokers.

The counsel-reviewed policy will replace this page before Kanon accepts payment from the public.
